Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Film Review:

The audience has high hopes for actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who won the National Award for Best Actor for 'Andhadhun.' He dares to break the taboo through his films. He brings those issues on the 70mm screen, which society avoids talking about.

The audience has high hopes for actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who won the National Award for Best Actor for 'Andhadhun.' He dares to break the taboo through his films. He brings those issues on the 70mm screen, which society avoids talking about. He is also an expert in changing people's thinking through Hindi cinema, but something is missing in the Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan,' which does not reach your heart. The audience cannot connect, and it is not Ayushmann's fault, but to a large extent, the director's.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Film Review: Story

First let's talk about the film's story, which is made about the love of two men. Simply put, this film is made on homosexual relationships. That relationship, which the society is not yet able to understand. Ayushmann Khurrana played the role of Kartik and Jeetu as Aman. Such an incident happens that the family members come to know about them, and then the roller coaster ride of emotions begins. Do Aman's family members accept their love? Does Kartik lose his love? To answer these questions, you will have to go to the theater to watch a movie.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Film Review: Acting

From 'Vicky Donor' to 'Bala,' Ayushmann Khurrana has not disappointed the audience. He has tried to give his best in this film too, but this time, when he brought up such a sensitive issue, there were high expectations from him somewhere. Ayushmann's charm is such that his eyes do not take away from his face whenever he comes on screen.

Talking about Jitendra Kumar, aka Jeetu, who has shown his acting prowess on digital media, he has sometimes overshadowed Ayushmann. The art of speaking with his eyes and has given his best. The pairing of Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta is amazing. Both the veteran actors have played the role of parents burdened by their children's happiness and 'Samaj Kya Bolega,' but this time, it is a bit over. There is no shortage in his acting, but his forced one-liner utterances irritate him somewhere. Apart from these, Sunita Rajwar, Maanvi Gagroo, Manu Rishi and Pankhuri Awasthi have also done a good job.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Film Review: Direction

The biggest drawback I feel in this film is the fragmentation of the story. Director Hitesh Kewalya had an opportunity to present something different from the earlier films about gay relationships. It could have robbed the applause of the audience. He also had Ayushmann Khurrana, but he could not capitalize on this opportunity. In trying to bring out every character in the movie, he could not tell the real story. However, some scenes are very well presented. For example, what is the reaction of a father after seeing his son kissing a boy? It is worth watching.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Film Review: Music

One of the good things about 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' is that you don't get bored anywhere. The 2-hour film keeps you hooked till the end, and there is a reason behind it also great music. The remakes of 'Mere Liye Tum Enough,' 'Pyaar Tenu Karda Gabru' and 'Are Pyaar Kar Le' are fantastic. The songs have been used at the right time, making you feel relaxed.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Film Review: Dialogues

The dialogues in the movie are very good. You can feel these dialogues. Some became famous as soon as the trailer arrived. Like- 'I am a mother and a mother has a heart, yes the father goes with the battery' and 'The fight that happens with the family is the biggest' and when Gajraj tells his son Aman (Jeetu) at last It is, 'Because of our understanding, do not change yourself'... Apart from these, you will find the entire film full of dialogues, which will make you laugh and be emotional.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Film Review: Little stone left in the film

Serious issues are presented through comedy in Ayushmann Khurrana's films, but forced comedy does not look good in any film. Every character has spoken one-liner in every line, which is not digested. If it is a family film, there will be drama, but in 'Shubh Mangal...' over drama has been shown. The story starts with Ayushmann and Jeetu's scene in 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' and ends with 'Ja Simran Jaa Ji Le Apni Zindagi,' but many camaraderies between all this. The film shows the middle-class family, but in any middle-class family, such things are not shown in the movie. For example, the logic of black cabbage is not understood. Bhumi Pednekar's special appearance also seems irrelevant. The daughter runs away from the wedding pavilion, and no one will find her. All these things seem a bit strange.

You go to the theater thinking that this film about a homosexual relationship will send a message to society. People will be forced to change their thinking. The troubles of those who have lost their love due to the fear of society will be easily explained on the screen, which they cannot even speak. But all this is missing in 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.' However, Ayushmann's courage has to be admired that he took up the courage to kiss the boy on the big screen and did it well.
