Natkhat Movie Review:

Vidya Balan's short film 'Natkhat' takes a profound toll on patriarchy. It will also tell us the effect of what we ignore as boys' mistakes in childhood.

Let the boy go... Often people say this line in homes to ignore the girl's mistake. If the child learns something wrong outside, it is the family's responsibility to correct it. But what will the child learn if the same environment prevails in the house? This is shown in Vidya Balan's film 'Natkhat.' All the men of the house eat food at the dinner table, grandfather, father, and uncle discuss the lady officer and a 5-6-year-old child. Speaks if you disagree, then get it up…. Hearing this, everyone's senses are blown away, but then the same line of Dada - let it go is the boy. 

Natkhat Movie Review: Story

This is the story of Sonu and his mother (Vidya Balan). Vidya is surprised to hear from the mouth of her 5-6-year-old son that 'If you do not agree, then get up, all the men of the house may have ignored her words, but she is not able to do it. Sonu watches outside every day, and how elder boys talk about girls, these things also attracts him; seeing the girl whistling, pulling her dupatta, abusing him feels cool. His mother tells him a story... what is that story and how will that story change Sonu... you will know only after watching the film.
