Freedom Fighter Sardar Udham Singh has been released on OTT's Amazon Prime. Helmed by Vicky Kaushal, the film beautifully depicts the events in the life of Sardar Udham Singh, from the Jallianwala Bagh massacre to the assassination of General Dyer. Shoojit Sircar has not been in any hurry to show the story of a brave fighter full of struggle and passion. The film's short flashbacks, the extent of revenge running in Udham Singh's mind and the passion for India's independence have been presented in a very detailed perspective, which can be considered successful to an extent. If seen in this film, English rule is also shown and foreign rule. Shoojit Sircar should be given full marks to show the live life of India and London from 1900 to 1941 era, but only showing life does not make the film complete. 

Sardar Udham Movie Review: Story

The main part of the film makes every journey of Udham Singh turn Vicky Kaushal in a calming manner. In this way, Shoojit does not put any character in the film by creating it. They show the time from the birth of the character till its maturity, and telling the story of that time beautifully has become a good story.

Udham Singh's connection to Jallianwala Bagh, when his passion for avenging his loved ones turns into his insistence on freeing the country, the film tells. When Udham Singh, with the help of some foreigners and some countrymen, shoots a general in a foreign country in the procession, instead of running away, he stops there and stands in front of the police officers. What then..hanging.

The film gives a small glimpse of Udham Singh's stubbornness and passion and his personal life. The director could have made it bigger if he wanted, but it was not necessary, and he was fine. This creates problems in justifying the character's purpose, and the film goes the other way. There have been mistakes in most of the films of India, which take time to fix.

This is what Vicky's success can be called that even in a biopic and above all in a periodic film, he managed to keep his character alive in this wonderful way. Is. 

Sardar Udham Movie Review: Direction

We have already told you the wonder of direction. The camera work has become superb. The film does not feel loud, and the colour combination is also sweet. 

Lastly, if we did not mention the tragedy of that quarter-hour, it would probably not be right. Jallianwala Bagh has been erased from the memory of the people. People go there, see the garden marks and come back. By showing that carnage once again alive on screen in the same way, Shoojit might have made the audience two-four with that horror. Those with weak and emotional hearts will cry after seeing that scene. Vicky Kaushal is not visible there, and only the scene is visible there. If there were a separate rating system for filming this scene, perhaps the numbers would have been given separately. In this hour, almost every spectator has lived and experienced that carnage. Only Punjab has not experienced it... It has become justified to show this to the new age youth because that tragedy is being mentioned on social media.
