Haseen Dilruba Movie Review:
Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane's film 'Haseen Dilruba' has been released. Let's know-how is the film is?
Haseen Dilruba, this movie is a wild Bollywood thriller. It's worth watching the way it takes you before the plot twists. The film is fun, and the way it invests in a 135-minute story to mix suspense and satirical humour with smarts is commendable. Kanika Dhillon's writing is good; Taapsee Pannu's acting is very good at many places and disappoints. On the other hand, Vikrant Massey could not show anything special. In many places, the film makes you very happy, and in many places, it disappoints. The film underscores the changing pace of storytelling in mainstream Hindi cinema.
Haseen Dilruba Movie Review: Story
Delhi girl Rani Kashyap (Taapsee Pannu) faces a huge dilemma of choosing one of the two candidates as the groom. The boy from the big city of Mumbai is bald, and the other boyfriend is a decent looking engineer, but he lives in a boring Jwalapur. Between bald and boring, Rani settles for the latter. After an engaging 'Ladki Dikhi' sequence, Rani is married to Rishu (Vikrant Massey), a nice guy from Jwalapur.
Incidentally, all of the above is a crisp flashback that follows the point from which the film begins. The film shows us Rishu's death; Rishu dies in a cylinder explosion at home when Rani leaves for the market. The local inspector (Aditya Srivastava) believes that Rani has committed the murder. The story of the queen tells you, moving through the cycle of time between flashbacks and the present. Rani is involved with Rishu's handsome cousin Neel (Harshvardhan Rane). When he comes for a river buffet in Jwalapur for a few days. And soon, the whole neighbourhood gets to know about this.
This story is not special. If the audience expects it to be a soft thriller, then 'Haseen Dilruba' will live up to the audience's expectations.
