Sadak 2 Movie Review: Story
'Sadak 2' begins with Arya's (Alia Bhatt) scene. She wants to avenge her mother's death from her stepmother and religious leader. Arya's entire family is a blind devotee of this hypocrite, Baba. On the other hand, Ravi Kishore (Sanjay Dutt) is deeply saddened by his Pooja (Pooja Bhatt) and does not want to live. As per her mother's wish, Arya runs away from home to Kailash Mansarovar. Arya and Ravi Kishore meet through tour and travels. Ravi starts seeing his daughter Misha in Arya. He falls in love with Arya. Traveling on the road, there is the entry of Vishal (Aditya Roy Kapur), who at first wanted to kill Arya, but later falls in love with her. There are many turning points in this simple but complicated story, only for a short while. Who is the murderer of Arya's mother? Will Arya be able to avenge her mother's death? Does she forgive Vishal after knowing the truth about him? Does Ravi Kishore give up his insistence on killing himself? To know the answers to many such questions, you must watch the entire film.
Sadak 2 Movie Review: Audience
Now let's talk about how this film is? In this, many scenes of 'Sadak' have been shown. On the side of that movie, Sanjay Dutt is disappointed with life even in this film. The script and climax of this slow-moving film are very weak. The suspense fades away in no time. Emotional scenes are cramped, but the audience cannot connect with them. Everything is very cumbersome and boring. No scene brings a smile to your face. The horror of the villain seems to be more laughable than intimidating. The story is very flat and predictable. Heart-touching songs were also a feature of Mahesh Bhatt's films, but it was also lacking here.
Sadak 2 Movie Review: Acting
Talking about acting, apart from Jisshu Sengupta (Arya's father) and Sanjay Dutt, none of the characters have left a deep impression. Still, Jishu did not get much time on the screen, and Sanjay Dutt was only emotional in every frame. Alia Bhatt has not been able to give her best. Aditya Roy Kapur got a lot of time, but he could not show anything special. Guruji became Markand Deshpande Villain less and more funny. Gulshan Grover (Dinesh Hathkata) also didn't have much to do.
Mahesh Bhatt has made many romantic and thriller films like Saaransh, Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi, Raaz Jism, and Murder, could not spread his magic this time. Fan of Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, and Aditya Roy Kapur, watch this movie. India TV gives this film 1.5 out of 5 stars.
