Gehraiyaan Movie Review:

Gahreiyaan' has to endure the hardships and hardships imposed by the director in an attempt to prove the love of Alisha and Zain's relationship - Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi's characters.

Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi's much awaited film 'Ghehraiyaan' has been released on Amazon Prime. The fans of Deepika Padukone were eagerly waiting for the film. Although Deepika appeared in the film '83', it was also Deepika's chance to return to the lead role after 'Chhapaak'. Has Shakun Batra's directorial debut 'Ghehraiyaan' able to get deep into the minds of the audience? Let's know. 

Gehraiyaan Movie Review: Story

After the trailer of the film came out, people were anticipating that the film would see a different love story stemming from the duplication of relationships. The film maintains this expectation of the audience but only as much as it is seen in the trailer. The feeling of getting deep into the sense of emotion, it is difficult to feel it as a viewer. It would be wrong to expect novelty from the story of the film as making films on love triangles is a common pastime of Bollywood. 

Like the trailer of the trailer, the film is full of intimate moments and bold scenes, perhaps keeping in mind the elite class, through this film an attempt has been made to reach the depths of their lifestyle. However, the film moves at a very slow pace, making it difficult to anticipate anything other than boredom. The director's attempt to prove the love of Alisha-Zane's relationship is what 'Gahreyaan' has achieved.    

Gehraiyaan Movie Review: Acting

If we look at the acting of the cast of the film, then Deepika Padukone (Alisha), Siddhant Chaturvedi (Zen), Ananya Pandey (Tanya) and Dhairya Karva have acted. Deepika Padukone has added one more link to her best acting characters. His acting in 'Gehraiyaan' is being compared with his character in 'Piku'. The graph of Siddhant Chaturvedi's acting is continuously falling. He has tried to replicate the level of acting of 'Bunty Aur Babli' in this film as well. It is now difficult to even expect him to act in a critically acclaimed film like Gully Boy. Ananya Pandey looked younger than her character, from whom it seems meaningless to expect seriousness. They have been used as fillers in the film. Instead of considering Dhairya Karva's acting as fourth grade, it would be more correct to be judged after Deepika.

Gehraiyaan Movie Review: Rating

Director Shakun Batra has failed to do something in his three films of a decade that deserves to be remembered. Apart from this, the most important thing is that the audience expecting entertainment with time to the film will be disappointed.
