Chehre Movie Review:

"Jism will chale jayenge but zindagi rahenge chehre..." The poem begins before the film in the powerful voice of Amitabh Bachchan. The poem is so beautiful that it wins your heart and makes you feel that yes, we are going to see something good. The film's trailer' Chehre' is adorned with stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Annu Kapoor, Krystle D'Souza, Rhea Chakraborty, was very different and good but is the film as interesting and great as the trailer, let's try to know. Huh.

Emraan Hashmi utters a line in the film that "Nowadays honest is the one whose dishonesty was not caught, and innocent is the one whose crime was not exposed." This line has special significance in the film. The film begins with a retired judge Jagdish Acharya (Dhritiman Chatterjee), living in a house surrounded by mountains of snow, where his elderly friends often gather. Among his friends, Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of retired criminal lawyer Lateef Zaidi. On the other hand, Annu Kapoor is in the role of retired defence lawyer Paramjit Singh Bhullar. In this film, all these elders play a game in which they fight any case like a real court case and then pronounce its verdict and punishment. Most of the accused in this court are strangers. This time Samir Mehra (Emraan Hashmi), the CEO of Ad Agency, becomes the culprit in his court. Those who get trapped in a snowstorm come to their house to take shelter for a while. Before starting the game, Amitabh says that 'in our courts, there is no justice, no justice, no judgment.' But Emraan Hashmi does not know what will be the result of this game with timepass in the game?

Chehre Movie Review: Acting

The film has great stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Annu Kapoor, Krystle D'Souza. While Amitabh Bachchan, as always, wins hearts with his loud voice and excellent acting, Annu Kapoor is also remembered for his special style. Raghubir Yadav's character is also very interesting. Rhea Chakraborty has done a decent job. Her character has not been shown properly, while Siddhant Kapoor's role is also there. I do not understand because the film would not have made any difference even if it was not. Krystle, who debuted in Bollywood with TV, wins hearts with her beauty and acting. Emraan Hashmi's acting is getting better day by day. He acts confidently even in front of a big star like Amitabh Bachchan, and we feel this actor should get more work.

Chehre Movie Review: Story

While watching this movie, you will remember Table No 21'. It would help if you remembered how the game turned into reality even though it is a game. This film is also like that. At the beginning of the film, everything is like a game, but later this game turns into reality and scares us along with Emraan Hashmi. This film is a reality check for all of us. Because in this film, Annu Kapoor says exactly one thing that everyone in this world is living with the burden of some crime. No person has not committed any crime.

Chehre Movie Review: Weak Point

The film also has a monologue by Amitabh Bachchan. It is very nice to hear that monologue in Amitabh's voice, and he also says many important things. But that monologue is not needed in this film. This film is going great, in which Amitabh Bachchan while speaking (without naming names) about Nirbhaya, Laxmi Agarwal, conveys his point to us, but that becomes the weak link of the film. Because if that monologue was crammed into 1-2 lines, the film would have been crisper and would have had more impact. Because of that, the length of the film has also increased. This film should have been reduced to barely 2 hours, but the film has been dragged for 20 minutes more for that monologue which has nothing to do with the film. Yes, if you watch that video separately, it will have a deep impact.

Chehre Movie Review: Music

The music of the film is also fine. However, the poem, which is in the voice of Amitabh at the beginning of the film, is superb.

Chehre Movie Review: Dialogues

The film's first half is confined to a house built amidst mountains, with heavy dialogues by Emraan Hashmi with Amitabh and Annu Kapoor, though it doesn't bore you. The person who wrote the film's dialogues has to be praised because the dialogues and punchlines of the film are great. Apart from this, the cinematography in the film is also amazing. The film picks up pace in the second half, and we find it even more interesting. Suspense opens upon suspense. If you are fond of thriller films, you will like 'Chehre', because these faces of the film keep you hooked from beginning to end. I would give this movie 3 out of 5 stars.
